Aftergraduating with a certificate of honor from the N. Grigorescu Arts Institute,Painting Department (Bucharest, Romania) in 1982, Petru Lucaci became one ofthe most prolific and known artists in the Romanian art scene and has shownconsiderable skill and forethought in a multitude of artistic genres and forms:painting, graphics, photography, object / installation, happenings, new media.He has been a highly influential beneficial force in the art scene too throughhis relevant positions (such as president of The Romanian Artist’s Union),while also being able to shape and aid numerous future generations through histeaching at the Bucharest National University of Arts (his students frequentlyhave a knack for proving themselves to be valuable emerging artists).
